Googlios: A 21st – Century Approach to Teaching, Learning, & Assessment
This was a very interesting session. For the first time, our school is using Google Apps as it’s email and document sharing platform. It has been quite a year with the transition to Google. As I have said in an earlier post, I thought I knew most of what was needed for Google, but wow, there is so much more. This session helps to go through how things have changed and how we can apply this to authentic assessments. I have to say there were parts that were very boring..the guys monotone voice made it less like a regular conference session and more like a podcast (which can be a bit dry sometimes depending on the speaker). Weeding through the information, there are gems to be found. I think there is good stuff here and would like to “attend” the next round of sessions.
